RideMitra is a platform that connects customers looking to rent a cab with independent cab owners. We are not a transportation operator — the rental agreement, fare, and service are between the customer and the cab owner directly. RideMitra facilitates discovery, negotiation and booking only.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use RideMitra. Cab owners must hold a valid driving licence and legally-required vehicle documents (registration, insurance, permit) for any vehicle they list.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you submit, including KYC and vehicle documents. Submitting false or fraudulent documents is grounds for immediate account suspension.

Fares are agreed between customer and owner through the in-app negotiation. RideMitra does not currently process payments — payment is arranged directly between the two parties. Cancellation terms are whatever the customer and owner agree to at the time of booking; RideMitra is not a party to that agreement and does not guarantee refunds.

Admin verification of KYC/vehicle documents confirms the documents were submitted and reviewed — it is not a guarantee of a cab owner's conduct, vehicle condition, or service quality. Use judgment when booking.

Meet in a safe, public place; check that the vehicle number matches the listing before the trip; share your trip details with someone you trust; and agree the fare and any advance in the in-app chat. Avoid paying large advances. In an emergency, call 112.

Harassment, threats, spam, fraud, discrimination and sharing someone else's personal data are not allowed. You can block any user you have been in contact with — they can then no longer message you, make offers or send inquiries — and you can report a user or a message from the conversation. We review reports and may warn, suspend or remove accounts.

We send service notifications about your account, inquiries, chat messages and bookings, in the app and (if you allow them) as push notifications on your phone. You can turn push notifications off in your phone's settings.

We may suspend or block an account that violates these terms, submits fraudulent documents, or is reported for abusive conduct.

RideMitra is provided "as is." We are not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from a rental arrangement between a customer and a cab owner — our role is limited to the platform itself.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the city where RideMitra is registered.
